Markku Hollström

SVP Large Accounts 

Markku Hollström has 20 years of experience in Marketing, Sales, Product Management and General Management within technology, IT and mobile industries. Born in 1964, he graduated from the Lappeenranta University of Technology in 1989 having started professional career in IT and Telecommunications equipment marketing in 1988 and moving to sales of industrial equipment in 1990.

In 1994, Markku joined Nokia and held various product marketing and product management positions in the Nokia Networks. Between 1996 and 1998 Markku worked in Tellabs in various Product Management and Strategy positions. At the end of 1998, Markku was invited to join Nokia Networks to lead Solution Development for Microcellular Systems and later he was Head of All-IP Solutions.

Markku was Managing Director of Mercantile, a Finnish Industry Distributor between 2003 and 2005, from where he went to lead the Nokia WiMAX Business Program and was General Manager of Broadband Wireless within Radio Access unit. He continued same activities in Nokia Siemens Networks  where he worked as Head of Broadband Wireless Product Management.

Markku joined Teleca as Vice President of Strategic Accounts in January 2009.
